Perma Cast solves these problems by centrifugally casting a special mortar onto the existing walls. Perma Cast MS 10,000 is a high strength corrosion resistant resin enhanced synthetic mortar. It uses a calcium aluminate cement base. It may be applied from 1/2 inch to 2 inches thick or thicker, depending on the state of degredation and ground water pressure, for the depth of the manhole. A significant advantage to this manhole rehabilitation method is the ability to complete the entire project from ground level. No confined space entry required.
